Duncan is the Chief Executive Officer of Secan & Partners Ltd and has spent over 40 years in the Lloyd’s market, primarily focused in the Accident & Health and Casualty sector. Duncan has been a Divisional Director with three Lloyd’s Brokers and is responsible for the production and placement of both Insurance and Reinsurance risks into the London, European and US markets.
Adrian is a Director of Secan & Partners Ltd and has over 35 years experience in the Insurance & Reinsurance market, predominantly Non Marine Reinsurance with a focus on US Casualty. Adrian began his career at Lloyd’s, and after 6 years moved into the broking community, where he has remained since, working for a number of Lloyd’s Brokers holding the position of Divisional Director. Adrian is responsible for production and placement of both Insurance and Reinsurance risks into the London, European and US markets.
James is the Director of Operations & Strategic Business Development at Secan & Partners Ltd. He started in the London insurance market in 1993 as an Aviation Reinsurance Technician before becoming an Accident & Health Broker. After completing an MBA at Henley Business School in 2003, James held a number of senior executive roles in broking firms and has run two MGAs. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Hugh is the Chairman of Secan & Partners and has been in the Lloyd’s market since 1974. During this period, as well as being a Director/Partner of two established Lloyd’s Brokers, he has also been a Founding Director of two other Lloyd’s Brokers, both of which were ultimately acquired by larger competitors. Along with Duncan and Graham, he is responsible for oversight of the business, its development, and its operation.
Eloise is an Assistant Director of Secan & Partners Ltd focusing on the placement of Accident & Health Insurance & Reinsurance into the London, European, International and US markets. Eloise has worked in the Lloyd’s of London market for over 10 years, having previously worked as a Technician/Broker, providing technical administration, placement, business development and client services, where she gained a wide knowledge of the procedural and placement side of the Insurance and Reinsurance market.
Ed is a Senior Broker of Secan & Partners Ltd placing both Facultative and Treaty Casualty reinsurance as well as Accident & Health (re)insurance into the London, European and US market. Ed has 9 years’ experience in the London insurance market working at a large corporate broking house before joining Secan & Partners Ltd. Ed started his career on the technical side of the business helping with contract production and invoicing where he then moved into the broking team.
Rob joins Secan & Partners Ltd as a Senior Broker, bringing with him an impressive 38 years of experience in the Lloyd’s and London markets. He specializes in placing both Facultative and Delegated Authority Professional Indemnity and Accident & Health business into Lloyd’s, London, and US company markets. Over the course of his career, Rob has held a range of Delegated Authority roles, from Claims and Underwriting to Broking and Production. He also played a key role in developing some of the early Lloyd’s Delegated Authority wordings as part of the joint LIIBA/LMA committee.
Graham is a Director of Secan & Partners Ltd. He is responsible for leading all broker support and technical functions within Secan. Graham has over 40 years’ experience within the Lloyd’s of London market, working within various broking houses and specialising in wording production and technical excellence.
Garry is the Claims Director of Secan & Partners Ltd controlling all day to day claims servicing within the company and ensuring clients and markets are efficiently guided throughout the claims process. Garry has over 25 years’ experience within the Lloyd’s of London claims arena and has worked for large broking houses providing excellent claims expertise.
Emma is a Senior Technician at Secan & Partners Ltd. She has worked in the London market for over 10 years. Her background includes premium and bordereaux processing, as well as the creation of Binders and Line slips. Through these roles, she has developed comprehensive knowledge of the full lifecycle of Binding Authority Agreements and the Line slip process.
Grace is a Technician at Secan & Partners Ltd. She is primarily an assistant to Garry Juniper (Claims Director) ensuring the smooth operation of the claims collection process. She has previously worked with C V Starr and with the claims team of the West of England P&I Club.
Richard is a Director of Secan & Partners Ltd. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years’ reinsurance experience having been the Group Finance Director of an international Lloyd’s of London insurance broking group and a founding member of both a US managing general underwriter and a US reinsurance intermediary. Richard is responsible for supporting various Secan & Partners Ltd clients.
